Founder and Lead Trainer at Yogilachi Fitness Studio is a holistic life schooling mom of two boys 7 and 10, Stephana Johnson was born in the Southwest heading off to NYC at 16 to pursue acting. She spent the next 20 years living on both coasts - NY and LA with a few stops in between.
In the early 90s, a film project brought her to Portland where she fell in love with the green and mountains. Twenty years later, her husband Kelly and their two boys Ryder and Dax call Vancouver home. While in NY pursuing acting and modeling, she apprenticed under a top personal fitness trainer and that began her career in the health and fitness industry. Acting and auditioning by day, personal training by morning and night, she built a thriving personal training and coaching business and started Yogilachi in 1998 coining the word from her 3 favorite forms of movement - yoga, Pilates and tai chi. Dedicated to helping clients take back control of their body and their life from the inside out, empowering them with the tools to make lasting changes, Stephana is a master personal trainer (over 5000 hours) and certified in over 63 modalities including the most recent, Postural and Mobility Specialist and has helped 1000s achieve their health and fitness goals. She still loves to sink her emotional teeth into an excellent acting role like the lead role she filmed in “Lily on Saturday”, an independent feature shot here in the NW and which should be released in late 2016. “My faith, my family and my service are the 3 pillars my life is built on. We home/life school our boys, they’ve been with me every step of the way. They’ve seen the amazing changes someone can make by a choice. They understand the difference between - I can’t and I choose not to - something I feel we all must embrace. “Change is indeed tough, but when we are clear about what is truly important to us, it’s much easier to make the right choice. If good health is more important than the choice to cut down on the thing that is not supporting our health, it simplifies the problem. Once we get clear on what we do want to improve we can get the right support for that. Getting real support and tools rather than seeking a quick fix is what’s necessary - not just in health and fitness but in life today.” Stephana will be speaking at the Well Mama 2016 festival on the 5 Steps To Revitalizing Your Life & Achieving Your Health & Fitness Goals (Even with kiddos)!
