What a lovely day!Thank you so much for your support of our lovely little community event! It is so heartwarming to see everyone's commitment to helping Clark County families access their resources for health and wellness- while learning and having fun in the process! The raffle was a big hit- as were the crafts and toys! Whew! What a great event. I'm still basking in the glow of all the networking that went on behind the scenes, too! I can't wait to see you all next year! In the meantime, here are gorgeous photos of the day, courtesy of Iluska Ikeda Studios! You can check them out on Facebook, too! If you notice you or one of your loved ones here, please contact me and I will email you a larger file size!
If you notice your business represented here, please contact Iluska to purchase digital rights or prints! Please don't use the photos for your professional organization without permission from Iluska. Thanks!

As a mom it is easy to beam with pride for your little(s). When not singing praise from the mountain tops, we can be found posting on ALL social media sites every micro-milestone ("Today my baby yawned! It was the cutest thing ever. #cutebaby #bestjobeva #yummyawns"). We ooze with adoration for the daddy when they take a night feeding or change a diaper. We totally encourage you to continue doing both... And we ask, when you find yourself standing in front of a mirror...are you beaming with the same amount of pride? Are you freely, and consistently, showering yourself with adoring and loving thoughts?
All too guilty of answering the above questions with a two letter word ("No"), I am on a quest to create a community of moms that is centered on mindful movement and ROAR-ing empowerment. In it's simplest form, ROAR is a barre based one-hour stroller workout class. At it's core.... ROAR is a method of unleashing your inner vibrancy and building your external strength. ROAR is a movement practice as much as it is the development of a mindset. ROAR is a community where you are eager to share your ROAR of pride...for YOU....and not just because you are a mom...but because you are a radiant human being! With a professional background in teaching barre fitness, I have been leading movement classes since 2010. Combine this expertise with a 200-hour yoga certification and a two year leadership/coaching certification, and you have a ROAR-ing new momma who LOVES to lead movement and has a passion for igniting the inner flame in all of us! I believe that movement, when practiced with compassion and mindfulness, is an access point to our deeper strengths. Facilitating physical transformation that starts on the inside is what inspires me most, and is at the heart of the ROAR movement. In it's infancy stage of life, ROAR currently offers a class on Wednesday and Friday at 10:30am in the local Vancouver, WA area. The location is determined weekly based on the weather and is posted the Sunday prior on the ROAR Facebook page. Come ready to move, sweat and connect and we promise you will leave feeling fit, empowered and eager to share your ROAR!! ROAR is the manifestation of my big Dream for YOU and for us as a community of women. Be a part of growing this Dream, stop by the booth and share your ROAR. We look forward to seeing you (and your babe!). With Grace & Gratitude, Meghann "WindDancer" Hickey ROAR Founder & Owner Check them out on Facebook! |
