Who are you as a business?
We are a group of doulas and placenta specialists that love supporting Vancouver and Portland moms-to-be, providing them with authentic care and professionalism. Who are you as a business owner? A childbirth educator for the past 10 years, a doula for 7, decided to brand my business and provide numerous services that are needed during pregnancy and birth. How did you choose the name and logo for your business? I wanted the business name to create the feeling of warmth and protection. I love nature and mama birds take care of their young in such an instinctual way, I wanted to represent that. I wanted the logo to be fresh and clean looking, bright and inviting. What do you hope to do for the community where you operate? Be a trusted name that gives true care and guides them through life's greatest miracle. What have you done for your community? We provide free placenta encapsulation for those that have experienced a stillbirth. What do you hope that everyone who meets you understands about your business? That we truly care. We want mothers to feel safe, not afraid or alone. We want birth and postpartum to be remembered as an empowering experience. If you had the perfect client/customer/patient, who would they be? Really, just a Mama who wants to engage the birth experience and connect with the transformation into motherhood. Someone who has questions and cares about making their birth experience special.
