Ami Oyarzabal LMT, CEIM ~ Sri Shakti Healing Arts
A happy Mama is a happy family! I am honored to assist you in building a deep heart connection with your children during pregnancy and throughout the journey of motherhood. The combination of massage, cranio-sacral and energetic healing modalities, called Spiritual Bodywork provides a compassionate container for relaxation, softening sore muscles, increasing blood and oxygen flow, and preparing your body, mind and spirit for birth and parenting. For a pregnant woman massage helps manage pain and discomfort due to a rapidly changing body. Increasing blood flow and relaxation hormones, including Oxytocin it can help with fetal weight gain and positive birth outcomes. I provide techniques specially designed for a pregnant woman's specific needs. We work together to tailor a unique session just for you. Massage and bodywork can help give you the confidence and comfort that you need in this pivotal time in your life. I aim to guide you in recognizing your own innate wisdom and to empower you from the heart, by providing nurturing touch throughout the ever-changing needs of your pregnant body. Including the facilitation of you and your baby connecting and bonding while in the womb. With over 15 years of massage and spiritual healing experience, and having trained as a childbirth educator as well as being the daughter of a midwife and having two children of my own, I am uniquely suited to understand the subtle yet intense physical and energetic changes pregnancy and childbirth can bring. After birth, you will go through an adjustment period where you are integrating into your new role as nurturer and mother to a new beautiful soul, your baby. Your body is coming back into itself as well. Massage and Cranio-Sacral Therapy are deeply nurturing to this process, helping to settle your pelvis, calm any body aches or pains and bring peace and tenderness to your whole being. If you"ve had a traumatic birth experience, you will benefit from the physical and energetic healing that Spiritual Bodywork provides. For those who are interested in deepening their spiritual process I also provide ancient knowledge and tools specific to mothering and caring for the soul of your child.
